the way up to heaven :)

"The Way up to Heaven" is a suspenseful story, with character's who are both rude and timid. The story takes place in New York City. The two main character's are both in their sixties. Mrs.Foster has a phobia of being late, she absolutely hates it. She can get so worked up that her one eye twitches and will twitch for a couple hours after the incident of being late. Mrs.Foster has to put up with her terribly rude husband, who purposely tries to get her worked up. It's like Mr.Foster sees entertainment in his wife's misery. Mrs.foster has planned a trip to Paris to visit her daughter and her daughters family. The day her flight is suppose to leave, fog rolls in and her husband insists that the flight will be cancelled. Turned out that the flight was postponed to the next morning. Mr.Foster suggests that Mrs.Foster comes home for the night instead of staying at a hotel. The next morning, both Mrs. and Mr.Foster meet the next morning in the porch, they walk to the vehicle together. As they were getting buckled in, Mr.Foster says he has forgotten a small gift for their daughter in the house, so he goes slowly to retrieve it. Mrs.Foster was waiting impatiently in the car, when she looked down she found the little white box her husband had said was left in the house, stuck between the seats. It looked like it was shoved in there on purpose, like someone have had to of pushed it down. Mrs.Foster went in the house to tell her husband that they could leave because she had found the gift. She heard noise coming from the elevator in their house, she turned and left with a smile. She caught her flight to Paris, leaving her husband stuck in the elevator for six weeks. When Mrs.Foster came home from a delightful trip, she calls a repair man to come and fix the elevator.
